Greetings All:

Under normal conditions, we would have already announced our Fall show, and in the weeks to come, our Spring musical. Thank you for your patience as we try to navigate the uncertainty of the 2020-2021 school year and how the pandemic is likely to affect our access to campus and our ability to interact with one another. More than anything, it is our desire and obligation to make sure that the students and adults we work with and the audiences we perform for remain safe through this crisis.

Currently, we are close to a decision about a Spring show. It is our hope that, by the new year, it is safe for us to return to normal or slightly-modified production conditions. Yet, we realize that this may not be the case. Nonetheless, we are going to plan for the best-case-scenario and then adjust from there if we have to.

The Fall show is more complicated. We will most certainly not be able to stage a show in the theatre in front of a live audience, as distancing guidelines have not allowed for us to determine what an actual performance might look like and what the rehearsal process will entail. Because of that, we have to create multiple options to put in place, which, in essence, is more than doubling the amount of work that goes into the selection process. Because the Fall looks so uncertain, it is exceptionally difficult to lock in plans this early into the summer.

As soon as we are able to let you know our season…we will. It is likely that we announce the Spring show before the Fall. That said, please keep your heads up and your craft honed.

When we have an update, you will find it here.

Best,

Jonathan Westerberg
